- About Product
Description
OPERATING MODE
Wastewater aeration systems must simultaneously achieve two critical objectives: maintaining solids in suspension through effective mixing and supplying sufficient oxygen for biological treatment.
The Airtec LFL utilizes a low-speed rotating rotor that lifts wastewater and projects it above the water surface. This process creates intensive air-water contact, allowing oxygen to dissolve efficiently into the wastewater while maintaining complete basin mixing.
The floating structure is stabilized by tension cables and foam-filled composite floats, providing excellent buoyancy and operational stability under all operating conditions.
- Why It Wins
Features & Benefits
Simple and Reliable Floating Design
The Airtec LFL utilizes a floating platform supported by unsinkable composite floats and stabilized with tension cables. This configuration eliminates the need for bridges or permanent support structures while providing excellent operational stability.
High Oxygen Transfer Efficiency
The open-blade rotor design maximizes air-water contact to achieve effective oxygen transfer and optimal biological treatment performance while maintaining complete basin mixing.
Open Rotor Technology
The rotor utilizes an open-profile blade design specifically developed to prevent fiber accumulation, ragging, and debris buildup commonly encountered in wastewater treatment applications.
Minimal Maintenance
The Airtec LFL contains no wear components requiring frequent replacement. Routine maintenance is limited to periodic inspection of the gearmotor and anchoring system, significantly reducing operating costs.
Flexible Configuration
Available with stainless steel or composite rotors and power ratings ranging from 1.4 HP to 100 HP, the Airtec LFL can be adapted to virtually any aeration requirement.
