Description
OPERATING MODE
The Microscreen Drum Filter operates using a proven IN-OUT filtration process. Wastewater enters the central influent pipe and flows through individual filter cartridges. Suspended solids are retained on the inside of the filter media while clean water passes through the filtration cloth.
As solids accumulate, the water level inside the drum gradually rises. Once the preset level is reached, the drum automatically rotates and activates the backwash cycle. High-pressure spray nozzles remove collected solids and discharge them into the sludge trough.
When the water level returns to normal, rotation stops and filtration resumes at full capacity. The process operates continuously without interruption.
- Why It Wins
Features & Benefits
Fine Filtration Performance
Available with filtration cloth openings starting at 10 microns for superior removal of suspended solids, algae, and fine particulate matter.
Patented CLI-CLO Cartridges
The exclusive CLI-CLO cartridge system allows rapid replacement of filter media without screws or complicated fasteners. Simply click the cartridge into position, significantly reducing maintenance time and costs.
Kevlar Belt Drum Support
The drum is suspended on heavy-duty Kevlar belts, providing smooth operation, increased reliability, and long service life.
No Submerged Bearings
The design eliminates underwater bearings, reducing maintenance requirements and preventing contamination risks.
Advanced Backwash System
Specially designed high-pressure spray nozzles provide efficient cleaning while minimizing water consumption and preventing clogging.
