Description
OPERATING MODE
The Aqualitec Scraper Bridge is installed on circular clarifiers and settling tanks used for primary and secondary treatment applications. Wastewater enters through a central feed column where a center well diffuser promotes uniform flow distribution throughout the basin. As the bridge rotates, bottom scraper blades continuously push settled sludge toward the central sludge hopper for removal. Simultaneously, surface skimmers collect floating scum and direct it toward the scum box for discharge.
The clarified effluent flows radially toward the perimeter overflow weir, ensuring stable clarification performance and efficient solids separation.
