Description
OPERATING MODE
The Clever Disc Filter operates using an IN-OUT filtration principle. Treated wastewater enters through the central influent pipe and flows by gravity into the filter segments. During normal filtration, the discs remain stationary while solids are captured on the inner surface of the filter cloth.
As suspended solids accumulate, the water level gradually rises. Once the preset level is reached, the disc assembly begins rotating and the automatic backwash system is activated. High-pressure ceramic nozzles clean the filter media and convey captured solids into the sludge trough.
Once the water level returns to normal, the filter stops rotating and resumes standard filtration. This cycle continuously repeats without interrupting the filtration process.
